The Decatur Scottsboro Boys Civil Rights Museum and the Judge James E. Horton, Jr. Legal Learning Center are proud to announce the inaugural program in our new Civil Rights and Justice for All Lecture Series.

Our first lecture, "Defending the Innocent: What the Scottsboro Boys' Case Teaches Us About Today's Legal System," will examine how one of America's most significant civil rights cases continues to shape constitutional law, judicial ethics, and the ongoing pursuit of justice.

We look forward to welcoming students, attorneys, educators, community members, and anyone interested in learning how the lessons of the Scottsboro Boys' case continue to inform today's legal system.
