On November 13, 2025, the CEOTA (Celebrating Early Old Town with Art) Board hosted a fundraising gala at the Ingalls Pavilion in Decatur, Alabama. Community members enjoyed an unforgettable evening filled with elegance, live music, and inspiration. Guests were treated to smooth jazz by Cashmere Williams and an empowering keynote address from our special guest, Dr. Tommie “Tonea” Stewart. Dr. Stewart is a 2015 White House Champion of Change recipient, an acclaimed film and television actress, and a distinguished theater professor.
